Begining Thursday 08/06/09 @ 7:00pm to Saturday 08/09/09 @ 7:00pm we hosted our first 48 hour Prayer room. Almost every hour was filled. I went this morning to pray and it was awesome. The room is planned to remain and we hope that it will be actively used..jpg)
This photo is upon entry from the stairs. You see the kids station, the wailing wall, missions wall, sofa area for feet washing, and a handprint wall..jpg)
Communion Table
A place to kneel and focus on the Cross and the Divine Exchange that took place..jpg)
An art wall for free expression to God.jpg)
Light a candle and watch it melt and blend with other candles reflecting the circle of influence our lives have on each other..jpg)
Stones that reflected our burdens to be handed over to the Lord..jpg)
Here is a Wailing Wall to come to to identify brokenness in our lives that God promises to heal.
There are several other focuses including a kids table that focused on praying for healing, provisions, being moldable by God, praying for school friends. There was also a hand print prayer wall to pray for others in our church and a music table.
Walk by Faith and Not by Site
Through my daily walk with Him.. there are twists and turns... challenges... most unexpected... but with faith they will have awesome outcomes.

Keys for the Church
Last night I had visions/thoughts not sure in regards to the church body. There are Keys hidden within the church body members. They are already there and waiting to come into being. The bodies I saw who had the keys were in were in a shadow because no light had come on them.
These Keys are a deeper revelation to the fruits of the Spirit, a deeper kingdom understanding. When all these Keys are realized and activated in the Church there will be a unity and a power that the enemy cannot withstand. More powerful than signs and wonders because the fruits of the Spirit touches the hearts of mankind, even the ungodly.
My key was "Joy". "God's Joy" is found in delighting in the joy of others as a life focus rather than getting somewhere or getting something, nor just doing things for someone, no one can fake this, it is a soul thing.
There is extreme power in JOY to effect the nations. America needs Joy.
It begins with a choice to look for it in ones the Lord has called you into relationship with, find what brings them joy and there you will find God working in them. Then making a choice to join them in what they are doing. This may be a sacrificial offering at first but their joy will become your joy because it makes them happy.
God's Joy is different from man's joy so let us seek Him for all the fruits of the Spirit, learn to walk in that understanding and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to subdue the earth and all that is in it.
But the fruit of the Spirit is:
Love
Joy
Peace
Long suffering
Kindness
Goodness
Faithfulness
Gentleness
Self-control
Against such there is no law. And those [who are] Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Gal 5:22-25 NKJV
Human judgment and fear interferes and hinders the flow of God Revelation and His Power. Keep alert.
Just wanted to share.
God's Peace! Love! Joy! to you for Eternity.

Knowing God
Philippians 3:8-14
It is possible for a husband to live with his wife for 50 years, eat at the same table, and be aware of her daily activities but never really understand her. In the same way, we can spend our lives attending church, reading books about the Lord, and even talking to Him, without ever truly knowing our Creator.
The Bible repeatedly urges us to know God. That involves reading His Word to discover what the Father reveals about Himself. And then we need to spend time in His presence so we can experience Him in those ways.
For example, Matthew 1:23 calls the Lord Immanuel, which means "God with us." Jesus promised, "I will not leave you as orphans . . . I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you" (John 14:18-20). Scripture also describes Him as our "very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1). In other words, God isn't some distant, future rescuer (Ps. 32:7). He is here and involved right now. And not only does He defend us; He is also the rock where we can find shelter, stability, and strength (Ps. 62:2, Is. 40:31).
Through Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross, the Father offers us salvation and a personal relationship with Him. Then He brings us on the journey of sanctification, where He uses life's circumstances to teach holiness. And through the privilege of serving Him, we are able to know Him more.
Even if you have received God's gift of salvation, it is possible not to truly know who He is. Stop right now and ask the Holy Spirit to increase your knowledge of the Father (Col. 1:9).

This reminded me that my daily life is a sanctification process.
I ask God:
Why doesn't He make is presence more real, more tangeble?
Why do we have to look so hard for Him working in our lives and circumstances?
I know His plans are always right, good, just and perfect. Just because I can't see things from His stand point doesn't change who He is. I have to trust Him even if I don't like not knowing the details of His plans. I don't like walking in the unknown, the how's, the when's, the why's. He only lights up the path of today; actually this moment.
In this moment I can seek His presence.
In this moment I know what He asks me to do.
In this moment I can walk in His light.
In this moment I can choose to trust Him.
In this moment I can believe He is working on my behalf.
Will I ever be satisfied with that? ~Ranel

Lovers of God
I recently heard this comparison in relationship to the heart in the view of a soldier. The question is "who hands would you place your trust"....
A) He who has great skills as a soldier and who does his duty well.
B) He who is there for the sake of the adventure.
C) He who passionately serves with all his heart.
The first two men will fight until until their life comes into question, then they go into survival mode and leave what they are fighting for; but the third man who passionately serves by his heart is compelled to fight dispite any loss to himself.
So it is with God's kingdom. He seeks lovers of Him, not those who are just obedient. Yes, obedience is good and necessary to acheive an abundant life, but we are talking about a heart toward God. Nothing will stop the one who is passionately in love with God, he would sacrifice everything rather than be miserable in the absence of his God. One who is in love seeks to know everything about Him. Desires to be like Him. Wants to be with Him day and night.
God prefers those who love Him over those who just do what is requried.

Living in Grace
Galations 6:15
Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation.
First when I read this I was reminded that circumcision is a physical reflection of a spiritual principal but man will always put a natural/worldly perspective on it which Paul was trying to correct.
Subject: The act of Circumcision
Physically: The flesh is cut away to reveal what is hidden. What is under the flesh is more sensitive and more satisfying. If the flesh is not cut away it is more difficult to keep clean, higher risk of being unclean and subject to infections.
Worldly: The Jewish believers followed the law of circumcision. They thought that if they were good and following the law it would give them honor before God, they are flat wrong, God detests that kind of thinking. The Law is to show us the corrupt condition of our heart that we may compare it to the goodness of God and how we could never measure up. The law condemns! Jesus came that we would not have to live according to the law but according to God's GRACE, and that is Good News!
Spiritually: Believers are to cut away and separate themselves from world views, all their fleshly compulsions and demands and from all sin that leads to bondage. This is done in order to reveal the spirit beneath the flesh which is a more sensitive and more satisfying life. This spirit is given to us and is how we are made in God's image. This spirit allows us to receive thoughts only the Spirit of God can reveal to us through the meditation on God's word; this awesome process creates a new man within each believer.
In this verse the Lord was telling me to quit looking at my failures (the law) but look to Him and He will tell me the truth. He wants to tell me how things work in His kingdom. To cut away everything I now know, have been taught, all my fears and rejections of the past (circumcision). Then He who created me can tell me the truth about myself and how to live according to His kingdom which is our home. I read or hear the Word, then I do it and truth comes to enlighten me and only then do I have strength to walk away from this world that is so entangled in the bondage to sin. All sins are lies and have tremendous power over us, but when the light of truth shines upon them, sin (lies) loose their sting and their power of bondage is demolished.
As with the Lord, He wasn't finished with me yet. Thursday morning He was still talking to me about all of this. I have a very hard time with NOT doing the things I know I should be doing, laundry, exercise, eating right. I continually condemn myself and walk in a lot of frustration about it. I always feel that God will not bless me until I get a handle on these things. Then the Lord reminded me that He is made strong in my weakness and that His grace is sufficient.
As I thought about that... in God's grace He smiles upon me as I struggle (grace at its best), He has accepted me as His child and He is there as I struggle, He is always loving me, always thinking the best of me and will suffer long for me. In these times of frustration I can go to Him and be comforted and be encouraged to get up and try again. He is my heavenly Father and I am His child. That I am under Grace and not under the Law. He won't give up on me because He loves me and I love Him. Isn't that awesome.

True Security
For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:12 NIV
That’s one thing very sure - God blesses the righteous. A lot of things today that we used to count on, we’ve found no longer absolutely sure. Many places that we’ve looked for security and certainty have failed us and let us down. Political solutions and financial solutions seem to be crumbling today. But there is one thing still sure in life, that God blesses the righteous.
We need to spend much more concern about making sure that our lives are right before God, that we qualify for that blessing of the Lord which He reserves for the righteous, which is only for the righteous. And then the psalmist says, “You surround them [the righteous] with your favor as with a shield.” God’s favor is toward the righteous and when we walk in His righteousness His favor is like a shield, like a protection around about us that shields us against the blows of life. It shields us against the pressures. It shields us against forces that are too strong for us. It shields us from harm and danger and evil.
What a blessing to walk in the favor of the Lord, to know His presence, to know His favor around about you as a shield. Remember, there’s one thing sure; God blesses the righteous.

The Word Speaks
Abraham has been the star teacher in my life this week:
- God told him to leave his family and go to a foreign land (blind folded) with the Lord leading him. There is a definite parallel with Dan leaving for Bagdad. We have a promise but we must walk in complete dependence on Him.
- God made a promise to Abraham and Sarah that they would be the parents of a nation yet at age 90 +/- they still had no children. It is for us to believe and not to wavier. If we give into doubt the enemy comes to wreck havoc as did when Abraham bore Ishmael by his maid servant when him and Sarah became impatient, we are still paying for that oops-a-daisy, remember 9-11 (Ishmael's family!) Dispite their bad judgement, God still kept His word in regards to Issac. God always keeps his promises no matter what, however we can hinder them or frustrated them.
- God asked Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son Issac. Abraham was obedient because knew God personally and trusted God character with complete confidence. (Notice confidence in God doesn't necessarily mean that emotions do not exist, we choose to live by Faith in God and not our emotions). God is always working, leading, guiding and bringing us into a place of surrender. We have no control over our loved ones but we believe in God to work things out for the good because he promised to do so. God stopped Abraham from taking Issac's life and provided another sacrifice. I realized that I was holding on to my life (Dan) as I know it now and that I have to give up the idea of what our life is now, so that something new can come. This is tough, I am doing better but I still cry over it!
Then there is Mary, Noah and Jesus ...
- When the angel Gabriel came to tell Mary about the blessing of a baby. She simply responded "So be it as according to Your word Lord". Then she pondered it in her heart. I find so much joy in pondering God's word and then suddenly a thought gives birth to God's character and his kingdom principals and peace and joy begins to flow.
- Noah not only pondered Gods message, he took action. Again like Abraham who knew God personally, and took God for His word and never waivered no matter how much he was mocked and ridiculed by the people. He and his family were saved from drowning.
- Then there is the ultimate... Jesus! He told Peter who was "consoling Him" about having to die and Jesus told Peter "Satin get away from me for you are a stumbling block to me". We cannot let fear interfere with God's directions even if it means we must suffer a terrible death. For me death is my husband being in a foreign country. I am not afriad of tears or sadness and I will not let them determine what direction I take in this life. I will keep my eyes on God, believe and not waiver, do without complaint. And when this season of time is over, the chains that held us captive will be loosened and we will walk in the freedom God promises to those who love Him and obey Him.
The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7
"Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law." Romans 13:8
"In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has." Proverbs 21:20
"The plan of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty." Proverbs 21:5
"Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow." Proverbs 13:11
"The blessings of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it." Proverbs 10:22
Lord let me live my life on my knee continually praising You, seeking You and following You and that I may come along side of You in Your work, that I may not hinder nor frustrated Your plans in our lives. Let me be obedient to Your every word. When I need help let me cry out to You to meet my need. Father protect my husband while he is away and my children, guide and direct them in all their ways. In Jesus I pray, Amen.
